Astermites does not collect, store, share or sell any personal information. There are no accounts, no advertising, no analytics and no tracking. Everything the game saves stays on your device.
WHO WE ARE
Astermites is published by Arachnicode. This policy applies to the Astermites app for iPhone and iPad distributed through the Apple App Store, and to the Astermites pages on www.arachnicode.com.
INFORMATION THE APP COLLECTS
None. Specifically, the app does not:
- ask you to create an account or sign in;
- collect your name, email address, contacts, location, photos, or any other personal data;
- use advertising, analytics or crash-reporting services;
- use tracking, identifiers for advertising, or fingerprinting;
- connect to the internet during play. The app makes no network requests of its own.
INFORMATION STORED ON YOUR DEVICE
The game keeps a local table of high scores, made up of the score and the name you choose to type in when you set one. This is stored only on your device, is never transmitted anywhere, and is deleted when you delete the app. You can enter any name you like; it does not need to be your real name.
THIRD PARTIES
The app contains no third-party advertising or analytics software and shares nothing with third parties. Downloading the app through the App Store is subject to Apple's privacy policy; Apple may provide us with aggregated, anonymous download statistics that cannot identify you.
CHILDREN
Because the app collects no information at all, it collects no information from children. It is suitable for all ages.
THIS WEBSITE
The Astermites pages on www.arachnicode.com are static pages. They set no cookies and use no analytics. Our web server keeps standard access logs (the requesting IP address, time, and page requested) for security and troubleshooting only; these are not used to identify visitors and are not shared.
CHANGES
If the app ever starts collecting information, this page will be updated before that version is released and the effective date above will change.
